Asset management
Asset management, or risk-based management, is becoming increasingly common in the water sector. Managers use knowledge and insights into the performance, costs, and risks of their systems to support (management) decisions. The focus is shifting from maintaining individual assets to ensuring performance and preventing unacceptable risks. The result is often more cost-effective management, as resources are allocated where they have the most impact.

We support municipalities in successfully applying asset management to their (water) systems. We analyze (monitoring) data to deepen system understanding and identify areas where further actions are necessary, and where it is prudent to allow for more flexibility in management. Concrete examples include optimizing gully pot cleaning, managing sewer deposits, and assessing the risks of aging pressure mains.
